Ran aground on Knife Island on the Minnesota Shore of Lake Superior during northeast storm, June 4, 1904, enroute to Duluth and eventually broke up. Eleven crew and two passengers saved by tug EDNA G. of Two Harbors.; no lives lost. Machinery salvaged. The wreck lies on the lake side of Knife Island roughly off the center of the island. The wreckage lies in five major section with scattered wreckage all along the bottom off the island. This model was photographed in 2016 as a partial photomosaic of the site now converted to 3D.
