More model informationThe rafting tug Niagara ran aground on Knife Island on the Minnesota Shore of Lake Superior during a northeast storm June 4, 1904 enroute to Duluth and eventually broke up. Eleven crew and two passengers were saved by tug EDNA G. of Two Harbors. No lives were lost. All of the machinery was later salvaged. The wreck lies on the lake side of Knife Island roughly off the center of the island. The wreckage lies in five major section with scattered wreckage all along the bottom off the island. This is an update to the 2016 partial model. The model was created from 1,630 30 megapixel RAW images shot by Andrew Goodman.
