Model of an historic landscape measuring approx. 120 x 100m on the eastern slopes above the river Nidd, North Yorkshire, England. This area has a rich history of use throughout the millennia with examples of coaxial field systems, Romano-British / Iron Age enclosures, hut circles and rock art all found in a relatively small area. In October 2017, the site was excavated by the Iron Age (Nidderdale) Community Archaeology Group, through the HLF funded Prehistoric Nidderdale Project.
This model was created from 136 photos captured using a drone mounted Go Pro 3+ Black on 18 October 2017. The excavations took place the following week.
