Ninteenth Century Sailing Vessel Shipwreck

This shipwreck is a 19th century sailing vessel located in the Quicksands area of Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. Several vessels carrying timber products from the Gulf Coast wrecked in this area during the later half of the century.

University of Miami and NOAA researchers documented the site during a project in June 2021. Project funding was provided through a grant from NOAA’s Office of Ocean Exploration.
