More model informationIn 2018,Yftinus van Popta of the University of Groningen conducted a four month excavation in the Northeast polder (Noordoostpolder), the Netherlands. At the location NK47, the excavation team found the remains of a 30m long, wooden sailing ship. This 18th century ship was very good preserved up to the first dek with remains of the cargo, armaments and personal belongings. This part is the port side of the ship. The ship is broken at the keel, so most of the port side bottom is present, up tot the first dek with the knees and inner planking still in place.
