NK47, starboard side, part IV. 3D Model
In 2018, Yftinus van Popta of the University of Groningen conducted a four month excavation in the Northeast polder (Noordoostpolder), the Netherlands. At the location NK47, the excavation team found the remains of a 30m long, wooden sailing ship. This 18th century ship was very good preserved up to the first dek with remains of the cargo, armaments and personal belongings. This part is the starboard side of the ship from the keel up tot the first dek with the knees, inner planking and frames removed (inner layer of the dubbel outer skin visible).
