More model informationA model of an NMR solid state probe based off of the PH MASVTN500S2 BL4 N-P/F-H, a Bruker 4mm cross-polarization, two channel, variable temperature magic angle spinning probe. This model details the mechanism behind the rotation to the “magic” angle, as well as the relative sample size and rotation.
The underside of the probe depicts the varrious controls neccesairy for meassuring varrious nucelie.
This model was made possible thanks to help from the University of Wisconsin, Madison’s Chemistry department’s NMR staff.
A special thanks to NMR Staff PhD. Cathy Clewett for taking apart the solid state probe, providing intelectual feedback, and general support for this project.
Additional thanks to the NSF-GRFP for funding via DGE-1747503.
