AI art generators is trained off of art stolen from artists who need to eat, pay rent, and live life. By using AI generators, you are using an engine that steals art. Even if it’s your own idea entered into the engine, the engine generating it has been trained on someone’s art without their consent. There is no argument over the generated image being intellectual property just because you thought of the prompt. AI art engines will have there own uses in the art industry in years to come, but right now they are being unethically trained and used.
