More model information

Experience 3D Noahs Ark.

In 1675 Athanasius Kircher a German Jesuit scholar published a book “Arca Noe” in which he laid out the three floors of the ark with great detail. The books’ details, the ark layout and thoughtfulness were intriguing. There was really no other work like it nor any other drawings which had so much information. Although hypothetical, it stirs the imagination.

Based on Kicher’s drawing and his book, I created this three dimensional Noah’s Ark 18 years ago when VRML was brand new. Today’s technology is amazing and Sketchfab is a new outlet for creative 3D space.

Make sure you go inside to see the three floors and the various stalls/rooms.

Take a look and let me know what you think.

Also, checkout www.arksearch.com for more details.

Designed by God, Built by Noah, Hypothetical layout by A Kirchner, Computerized by Matthew Kneisler.
