More model informationLocated in a narrow gorge cut by the Amaghu river, this 13th century Noravank Monastery complex played an important role in the history of this region. The site features two main churches dedicated to Saint Astvatsatsin and Saint Karapet. In October 2017, CyArk traveled to Armenia to document two sites in the Vayots Dzor region. The documentation of the Noravank Monastery was completed as part of the My Armenia program funded by USAID and implemented by Smithsonian.
