Notre-Dame de Paris - RoosterYour model is disabled. For more details go to Edit properties3D Model
Once located at the top of the spire of Notre-Dame de Paris, at a peak of 96 meters, this weathercock fell during the fire that took place April 15th 2019, which is why it is in bad shape. The relics enclosed in the rooster have been taken out and are kept by the parish clergy. This rooster was created by Adolphe Victor Geoffroy-Dechaume (1816-1892). It can currently be seen at the Cité de l’architecture et du patrimoine in Paris.
