Puurunkoisen sota-aluksen pituus on noin 30 metriä. Kyljet ovat romahtaneet. Keulassa on havaittavissa ankkuripelin tukki sivutukineen. Keulan lähellä meren pohjalla on keularanka. Peräranka on pystyssä paikoillaan. Laivan tulisijaan viittaavat tiilikasa sekä kaksiosainen niitattu metalliastia, jotka ovat keulaosassa. Hylyn keulaosassa styyrpuurin puolella osittain hylyn alla on hentorakenteinen limisaumainen jolla, jonka pituus on 3,70 metriä. Hylky on saanut kutsumanimensä tämän jollan perusteella. Hylyssä on havaittavissa takilan osia, kuten pylpyröitä ja viuluploki, sekä tykki ja siihen liittyvä lavetti.
Hylyn oletetaan liittyvän Ruotsinsalmen meritaistelun 1790 tapahtumiin.
