More model informationScience journalist George van Hal from the ‘De Volkskrant’ newspaper wondered whether his meteorites were real or not. We made a microCT scan of this stony meteorite at TU Delft to get a look into the interior. On the scans we saw the round spherules that would indicate the presence of chondrules as well as metal inclusions; both are common features for chondrites. So, we decided to cut through the stone to verify. The results of the various tests were published in a nice in-depth science article in the Saturday edition of the ‘De Volkskrant’ newspaper. This model was used for an online version of the article.
