3D scanned using an EINSTAR VEGA 3D scanner, following a video overview I created for 3DVF & Einstar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=psZ2p56Kt_U I used Fast mode, which is basically a scanning mode useful for big objects, and/or when you’re in a hurry. This was my last scan of the day, I only had about 15 or 20 minutes left before the museum closed, so I had to be fast. A few areas were hard to reach and scan, such as the underside of the arms and of the jar on the left. Since leaning over a priceless statue is out of the question, there were a few holes, but the software provided by EINSTAR did quite a good job. I cut the base using a third party software, but aside from that, the scan has not been modified, enhanced, or tweaked.
Marble statue (1683-1685) by Antoine Coysevox. Currently on display at the Musee du Louvre, Paris, France.
