The single specimen consists mainly of portions of both the right posterior parietal and occipital bones. There is also a very small portion of the left posterior parietal bone as well. A portion of the lambdoidal suture is visible, as is a small portion of the sagittal suture. There are some Wormian bones in the right side of the lambdoidal suture. In the ectocranial posterior right parietal region is a very large hinged fracture- the hinge is at the right lambdoidal suture. The fracture is about 50mm in diameter, and is significantly depressed anterolaterally. There is extensive comminution, particularly opposite the hinge point. Authors:
