This skull of an ancient member of the walrus family was discovered in the Miocene Monterey formation of Aliso Viejo, Orange County, California. The skull was described by Biewer et al. (2020). This fossil was scanned with an Artec Eva and is in the Orange County Paleontology Collection, managed by OC Parks.
