The 173 ft Ogarita was built as a three-masted barkentine but later converted to a schooner barge. On October 25th 1905 it caught fire while carrying a cargo of coal and burned and sank in 30 ft of water north of Thunder Bay Island near Alpena in Lake Huron. Today it is buoyed for diving by the Thunder Bay Marine Sanctuary. The model was created from 1,599 30-megapixel RAW images shot from a DPV mounted camera.
