More model informationAn oil lamp from the collection of the Williamson Art Gallery & Museum.
The lamp belongs to the Egyptian collection at the Williamson and likely dates to the 4th century BC to the 4th century AD. The shoulder of the lamp is decorated with ivy(?) tendrils in relief and it was probably made using a mould.
A similar example can be found in the British Museum (accession number: 1886,0401.1360).
