A 3D model of a subsurface soil investigation involving a petroleum spill. The Optical Interface Probe (OIP) data depicts where free-phase LNAPL was encountered and the data from the Membrane Interface Probe (MIP) depicts the petroleum contamination in the sorbed and dissolved phase. The monitoring wells show the concentration of Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH) in groundwater.
