Sandstone
Funerary stele found in the Khakassia region (Southern Siberia, Russia), representing an image of a three-eyed deity surrounded by snakes, and associated with fertility rites.
The Okunev culture was originated during the Bronze Age, thrived under the influence of the Afanasyev culture, and replaced by the Andrónovo culture.
This culture worked both copper and bronze, and sculpted stelae dedicated to their ancestors and divinities, featuring the Sun and cosmogonic signs that have survived to this day (such as the one present on the Khakassia flag).
