Old Shawneetown Monument

What appears to be an old monument for a block corner in Old Shawneetown, Illinois. The first city located in Illinois Territory and one of only two cities in the country that was chartered by the United States government. The other being washington, D.C. The city was mostly destroyed in the 1937 flood of the Ohio River.
