More model informationLower part of a very old (circa 1860) street light. Those street lights were designed by Hector Lefuel (1810-1880) who also designed a famous and monumental staircase in the Louvre Museum. The street lights were later slightly tweaked when electricity replaced gas. The animal at the bottom of the street light is a dolphin.
