I aC inv. 14924). (Más información: https://ojs.uv.es/index.php/saguntum/article/viewFile/1646/1366)
JAR OF THE THRESHOLD OF THE AFTERLIFE This piece is unique in the Iberian world. Its decoration, such as the Egyptian Book of the Dead, is a guide on the journey to the afterlife: a dove (animal of the mother goddess carrying souls) flies through an idyllic forest with vines, ivies and the tree of life, and rises to the sky surrounded by stars, by the seven steps ladder (the Jacob’s Ladder of the Bible), to reach the world of the dead’s door.
