OneExp supernova

Supernova model from Pakmor et al 2022. Two white dwarfs are interacting, the primary explodes via a double detonation. This is the case when the secondary survives, so one stars explodes.

Shown are contours of the mass density. Contours at 0.004% 0.04% 0.4% 2.3% 8% 14% 20% of the max. They all are in the primary’s ejecta, the inner ones match the one selected for the TwoExp case. The impact from the secondary is visible as a conical disturbance in the primary’s ejecta.

The data cube was cut in half to better see the inner structure.
