Specimen discovered and scanned in Marelli’s Cave (northen Italy), very well preserved in inner details (very uncommon issues in epigean finds).

The Moltrasio Limestone has about 150 million of years, and at those times (Lias-Early Jurassic) the cave was an underwater proximal environment (near littoral zone) quite populated of benthic organisms.
