Osmundvraket (The Osmund wreck)

The wreck is a heavy clinker-built ship that had three masts. The wreck is roughly 20 meters long. The width of the widest cross beam is 6.80 meters and the ship had a width of approximately 7 meters. The wreck is loaded with about 100 barrels, most of them with osmund iron. The wreck also contains other cargo such as iron bar, pott ash, tar and probably butter. All typical swedish export products. Its remarkeble well preserved due its build with clinker technique. The ship built with pine from the Stockholma area dateded to 1540s.
