The original model was part of my bachelor thesis, which focused on animation. Now I’ve decided to revise the model, focusing on positioning and detail sculpting.
The model was created and textured entirely in Zbrush. Because it isn’t made for a game engine but for printing, the topology didn’t matter. It was more important to preserve as many details as possible with an appropriate amount of polys. Therefore, I used the DecimationMaster in Zbrush and projected the texture from the higher resolution model to this one.
For printing, it will be necessary to split the model in separate parts, so nothing will break. Especially his sword will be difficult. To see more of the model and the final print, make sure to follow me on my other social media accounts :)
