More model informationThis is a handpainted character I created to be used in a game. The challenge was to create a single texture map for the whole character, as effective as possible, so I mapped the eight tentacles as a single UV island, which allowed me to max the resolution for it, although this denies the possibility to create unique features to each tentacle texture. The props were made to be removable/changeable, so their textures were created in a different file. The model was sculpted then retopologized, and the textures were handpainted, everything within Blender.
