One of my older models with a fresh new coat of paint! I finally got my hands on Substance Painter and I’m finally unpacking UVs and making my own textures now! This P-51 is one of my first models that I worked on in Substance, excluding their example model for practice. There are a few things I wish I did differently during the modeling stage before proceeding into Substance, but it’s a learning experience!
Polygon count is relatively low, and all moving parts are separate objects. The model is NOT rigged, but you can orient each part (like the landing gear or control surfaces) using local object rotation. You can freely use this model for non-commercial use, provided that credit is given. If you have any feedback, I’d love to hear it, and feel free to share any projects you use this in as well!
