p300 Chain A core structure

3D Model

In this 3D model of the p300 protein, we see important structures and elaborate on functions of those structures. Four core domains of p300 are Histone Acetyltransferase (HAT; blue), Really interesting new gene (RING; green), Plant Homeodomain (PHD; red), and Bromodomain (Bd; yellow). Structure was realised via presence of bisubstrate inhibitor lysyl CoA (Lys-CoA) post deactylation with SIRT2, and a deletion of the flexible autoinhibitory loop (AIL; residues 1520-1581; orange).
