Diffusible iodine contrast enhanced CT scan of Paedophryne verrucosa (Microhylidae), from the Herpetology collections of the Bernice P. Bishop Museum (BM37752; MorphoSource identifier: ark:/87602/m4/600820). Snout-vent length = 8.36mm (one of the world’s smallest vertebrates!).

Scanned by Dr Edward Stanley (University of Florida). The musculoskeletal system of the pelvis and hindlimb has been segmented and exported as 3D meshes using Amira (version 2020.2) and further edited in Blender (version 3.5) by Dr Alice Leavey (University College London) to create this 3D model.
