More model informationMy first character using animation and blend shapes, with a deep dive into rigging. Still a work in progress, I need to iron out kinks in the textures, the blend shapes need tweaking, and weights need to be smoothed.
I used Zbrush to make the body shape and then retopologized in Maya. I used Substance Painter for textures and I am planning on making my own scale texture in Substance Designer. The base rig I got from Mixamo, I added my joints for the tail and setup IK handles in Maya for posing.
