Palki is a cart used to carry bride in rural Bangladesh. Four people used to take the cart handles over their shoulder while the bride sat inside. The groom walks along with the other guests beside the bride sitting inside Palki. This ageold tradition is about to extinct due to availity of modern vehicle.
