Papageno fountain in the Oberlaa Spa Park in Vienna’s 10th district. The fountain, a gift from the city of Salzburg on the occasion of the opening of the park, is a copy of the Papageno fountain in Salzburg. Both the original (1960) and the copy (1974) were designed by Hildegard Heger (1899-1998). Papageno, a character from the opera The Magic Flute by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, stands on a column above a hexagonal water basin.
