Parable Ring

Parable Ring is a part of a set of rings created for a fantasy themed game project. The theme I was working with is ‘opulence’, which stands for great wealth or luxuriousness, I used images of vintage and rustic jewellery as my inspiration. I am also very fond of Pearls, they have some kind of meaning in every culture, in Poland where I’m originally from they symbolize tears and loss, you will find a connection in the item description below. The ring is baked in Substance Painter straight from Zbrush in 2k resolution.

“Found cold on a beach after the storm, the body was still clutching this ring of unknown origin. Inside the misty pearl can be seen suggestions of a prehistoric sea battle with a monumental beast, where humanity lost. It is thought that men were once far more numerous, but that their number was cut in half by such unbelievable conflicts with ancient creatures now long gone themselves.”
