One of the catacombs entries. Convenient entries like this one are pretty rare, and usually locked (being only used by the police and the Geological Inspection Dept (Inspection Générale des Carrières).

Most of the catacombs galleries in the Grand Reseau Nord are about 60 ft beneath the surface, though there are galleries that run even deeper (down to 90 ft deep).
