The public BBQ facility relies on heat and flame to clean its ancient iron grate in order to produce Summer’s delicious burgers, hot dogs, and more.

Park grills always seemed to me to be equal parts horror and hunger. Forbidden, unless you possess charcoal and kerosene, as I imagined post-BBQ - what creatures sat on top of these in the cold dark night, gnawing at the burned bits stuck to the pitted grate.
