Parkinson’s disease is a neurodegenerative disorder that affects movement. It can be mild or severe and symptoms can include tremors, difficulty walking, and changes in speech. There is no cure for Parkinson’s disease, but there are treatments available that can help manage the symptoms. April is Parkinson’s Awareness Month and it is dedicated to raise awareness about Parkinson’s disease and its symptoms, as well as promoting research for a cure.
