More model informationThe Payload Assembly building at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station’s Launch Complex 20 is also know as Facility 18806, 8BR3156. In 1967, two years after the last Titan missile launch, Complex 20 was deactivated. The site was reactivated in 1988, and new launch pads with rail launchers, equipment buildings, launch support center, and a payload assembly building were added to accommodate Starbird launch vehicles. From 1991 through 1999, Facility 18806 was renamed the Payload Assembly Building and used for launch vehicle processing.
