More model informationThis unusual pear-shaped artefact has been ground to shape from a piece of locally available camptonite. The chisel-like end is reminescent of a mushroom-shaped sculpted stone from Rinyo (https://skfb.ly/JKJB).
This stone was found on the late Neolithic (3200-2400 BC) settlement at Skara Brae, Sandwick, Orkney.
