This is a scan from a statue that I made with Agisoft Metashape using a Panasonic Lumix GH5. I made 233 photo’s in 3 rows using 2 softboxes and a turntable. I didn’t have a green or white screen to make sure that agisoft didn’t calculated the background, so I had to improvise. I ended up using a white door as background.
Statue Background: Peije (1879-1941) was a street musician born in Ureterp as Freerk de Jong, and at the beginning of the twentieth century he was a colorful and popular figure in Drachten and the surrounding area.In my town is a big statue of him located on the spot where the drawbridge used to be over the Drachtster Compagnonsvaart. In earlier times the population came together there and Peije would play his music.
