This is a scan from a statue that I made with Agisoft Metashape using a Panasonic Lumix GH5. I made 233 photo’s in 3 rows using 2 softboxes and a turntable. I didn’t have a green or white screen to make sure that agisoft didn’t calculated the background, so I had to improvise. I used a white door. I processed the photo’s in Metashape and exported the highpoly with a basecolor texture to blender, where I made the clean highpoly. I baked the normal and basecolor also in blender from the original high poly. I made the roughness map with Substance Designer using the base color and normal map. The turnaround and all renders where done in blender.
It’s my first scan that I successfully completed in my photogrammetry study without containing any flaws. And I have learned a lot.
This is a little statue of Peije. Peije (1879-1941) was a street musician born in Ureterp as Freerk de Jong and at the beginning of the 20th century he was a colorful and welcome figure in Drachten and in the area.
