This site has some special geology as well as many petroglyph panels. When taken as a whole this seems to be a place where a meteoric air burst might have taken place. Many holes exist in the surfaces of this canyon’s walls and lines are etched into this panel to show that they were “shooting stars”. The arcs and the bubbles seem to represent the atmosphere. The cross hatched objects are shown in a progression intersecting with the sky, and breaking into pieces. This theme of lines becoming more lines suggests a shower or airburst and is recurrent among these panels. The bedrock here is volcanic ash that ring like a bell on to because it was thermally fused. Beneath that is a moderate density stone that was pecked into to create these designs. In some places it appears like a high speed gas abrasion happened like we see on the surfaces of meteors.
