More model informationThe petroglyph panel from one of the sites in the Canyons of the Ancients National Monument (CANM) in the Mesa Verde region, SW Colorado dated to the thirteenth century A.D. The panel is located outside the sandstone alcove that contains the remnants of the architecture (two not contemporaneous kivas, two or three adjacent rooms, and more rooms on the slope below the alcove). The lower part of the panel is partly disturbed, probably by the weather conditions or vandals. The site was investigated in 2014-2017 by the Institute of Archaeology, Jagiellonian University in Krakow (Project director: Radoslaw Palonka) in cooperation with the Anasazi Heritage Center, US Bureau of Land Management, Dolores, Colorado.
