3D model of the Roman Catholic parish church in Schöngrabern. The building is a late Romanesque hall structure, which is located slightly elevated in the northern part of the village. On the outside of the apse, there are richly decorated figures known as the Stone Bible. From a historical point of view, Hadmar II von Kuenring is assumed to be the builder; from an art historical point of view, it is thought to have been built by the Bishop of Passau. The church was built in the 13th century using two types of quartz-bound sandstone. At the end of the 17th century, iron locks were inserted between the outer walls to prevent collapse. Extensive renovations were carried out between 1781 and 1791 and at the beginning of the 19th century.
