More model information3D model of the Roman Catholic parish church of St. Veit in Michelstetten. The Romanesque fortified church initially consisted of a tower castle, which served as a hostel for pilgrims and was rebuilt in 1128 to the nave. In the 13th century, the tower was built on the east side, in the 16th century, the bell tower was put on. Around 1720 the top floor of the nave was demolished. The original wooden beamed ceiling was replaced by a barrel vault with pitched roof. At the same time, the two side chapels were erected, the lower windows of the nave were breached, and the present-day entrance on the west side was erected. On the south wall of the tower is a single-floor late medieval building for the sacristy.
