More model informationThe 236 ft package freighter Philadelphia was built in 1868. It sank in a collision with steamer Albany in 1893. Both ships sank as the Philadelphia tried to tow the Albany to safety. The shipwreck now lies in 120 ft of water and is a popular buoyed dive site in the Michigan Thumb Preserve. The shipwreck ports an interesting double steeple compound engine similar to the engine of the shipwreck Montana in the Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary. The model was created from 2,186 30 Megapixel RAW images shot by Andrew Goodman on a DPV but is missing much of the cabin wreckage surrounding the wreck.
