More model information

This is the very low resolution model of the Pian della Gardosa rock cliff, located at the coordinates 42°51‘23.9”N 13°15‘33.9”E. The original model has a resolution of 1cm and was developed using around 400 pictures acquired by a DJI Mavic Air 2 drone with a 48Mpixel camera. This outcrop was studied in Panara et al (2022) becuase allows to analyze the fracture network affecting the Calcare Massiccio formation far away from the main segments of the Mt. Vettore Fault System and the axial plane of the Mt. Sibillini thrust anticline. Comparing the fracture data acquired on this model with those of other model in the area (presented in Panara et al., 2022) is possible to understand better the Mt. Vettore Fault System and the Mt. Sibilllini thrust anticline. For a more detailed description of how to develope, use this 3D model and geological outcomes see Panara et al. (2022). https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jsg.2022.104654
