The presented trench No. 2 is located on the northern side of the Pidkamin I site (Pidkamin Devil’s Stone). It was placed in the cross-section of the ditch and part of the wall surrounding the complex. In it, we found 3 burials from the 17th-18th centuries, as well as about 80 fragments of pottery from the Bronze Age (1200 BC), Middle Ages (900-1300 AD) and modern times, a 12th century metal knife, and 17th-18th century church tiles.
The research was organized in 2021 to explore the stratigraphic layers and establish the function and chronology of the site’s occupation.
