Another 3D model of a Pokemon for my older brother, and this will be the last one I do for the rest of the year because I want to do other projects that are more in line with my interests. However, I’ll continue to dedicate to him every year at least one 3D model of something from his favorite franchise.
As with Piplup, Pikachu’s textures were made from scratch in GIMP, but this time the character is a full 3D figure, unsegmented, so this is one of my first more or less advanced Rigging works along the way that I had done previously.
This project was also a revelation for me, as it made me think that the style of my next 3D models would have a more cartoon or anime style, even though that is not reflected here.
