殻質は薄く、殻前端が尖る。奄美群島から、マーシャル諸島、トンガ、オーストラリア北部。潮間帯下部から水深20ｍの砂底に棲息する。

The shell is thin with a pointed anterior end. Found from the Amami Islands to the Marshall Islands, Tonga, and northern Australia. Inhabits sandy bottoms from the lower intertidal zone to depths of 20 meters.
